ik weet nog goed, hoe we, bij het uitbreken van de golf-oorlog, tijdens de lessen van prevenier (historische kritiek) massaal –maar individueel, of in kleine groepjes– naar radiootjes zaten te luisteren om het verloop te volgen. een voordeel van prevenier was dat hij zulke dingen eigenlijk aanmoedigde, en ons herhaaldelijk om de stand van zaken vroeg, om er dan zijn commentaar aan toe te voegen. verder voordeel van prevenier was ook dat het hem niet louter te doen was om zijn opinie te verkondigen, maar dat hij ons alternatieven wou bieden op de mainstream bronnen. altijd alles vanuit zoveel mogelijk standpunten bekijken. (timisoara iemand?)

[update 08:55] ondertussen is ook ds wakker geworden: acht europese leiders steunen bush met brief, en niet alleen dat: louis michel waarschuwt voor isolement belgië.
ik ga daar geen verdere commentaar bij geven. er zijn al warblogs genoeg.
