The Revenant kon mij niet helemaal overtuigen.
Maar blijkbaar is de film gebaseerd op de ware gebeurtenissen van een zekere Hugh Glass (1783 – 1833), waarvan wikipedia zegt: “Glass is best known for his story of survival and retribution, after being left for dead by companions when he was mauled by a grizzly bear.”
